The Brief
THE BRIEF
This historic company was looking to update the façade of their building and interiors of their offices in Gravesend. The project, completed by sister company Area, had to respect the heritage that came with this company but also enhance modern ways of working. 360 Workplace was brought on board to make the transition from old to new, easy for staff.

What We Did
It was essential that the employees at PLA were included in this transition – communication and engagement were key. We managed this by creating internal champion teams that were able to bring any issues/ideas to the workshops. Additionally, 360 Workplace spent 3 days on site in the office, during normal working hours to better understand how the different departments in PLA worked together. This process was necessary to ensure that the cultural change was respectful of existing practices, whilst understanding the need for the new ways of working.
The Outcome
Throughout the change management programme, we built excitement about the new space and the team at PLA were delighted to transition into a new environment which is more cohesive and supports collaboration. A small number of socially distanced events are being held in the new break out space to encourage staff from the other sites to come and experience the office (and its fantastic views!).
