Global Telecoms Company
The Brief
The Brief
Our client, who provide global telecoms services, had taken the decision to relocate to the UK’s first certified WELL Building. Although their previous office was less than a mile away from their new location, our client was transitioning their working practices to an activity-based working approach in their new environment. This led to a cultural shift for staff based there as well as those visiting from other offices.

What We Did
There was an element of resistance from staff moving to unassigned desking. 360 Workplace worked extremely closely with the Facilities and Marketing Teams to roll out communications around the new office, which involved site tours of the building, ‘Day in the Life’ profiles, space descriptions, creating the guiding principles for the space, and working with the Move Agents Team to understand the problems that individual teams were experiencing. It was essential to ensure that everything about the staff’s experience was seamless - not just on day one but in the long term too.
The Outcome
On the first day at the new office, we had staggered starting times to enable each team to settle individually. A robust communication plan pre-move ensured that everyone knew where individual teams and various facilities were located to avoid any disruption. All storage had been transported by sister company Sketch Studios over the weekend so there was little to no interruption to the day-to-day running of the business. The successful cultural change was immediately apparent with people having informal meetings in the breakout space and exploring the various areas where they could work from.
